There are two parts to the year: Trader Joe’s holiday season and waiting for Trader Joe’s holiday season.
Don’t get me wrong… Trader Joe’s is magical any time of the year. But Trader Joe’s holiday season is unmatched. They have such a wide variety of unique seasonal products and, the crazy part is, I have yet be disappointed by ANY.
There are still some that I would definitely rank above others.
These are my go-to’s…
The things I dream about in mid-July.
All of these are items that I recommend you get your hands on ASAP. Seriously, holiday goods at Trader Joe’s FLY off the shelves.
If you’re hoping to get any of these in person, I would go AS SOON as the Trader Joe’s holiday items drop!
If you aren’t lucky enough to snag these next time you’re at Trader Joe’s (sad face!), would prefer to not leave your couch (I feel you), or don’t have a Trader Joe’s nearby (I am so sorry for your loss), I will link all the ones I can find online below!
Okay, okay… let’s get to the point!
15 Trader Joe’s Holiday Must-Haves:
1. Peppermint Hold the Cone
These are unbelievably good. Honestly, all of the “Hold the Cone”s are delicious. There’s something oddly appealing about miniature food… this is no exception.
I love all the TJ’s cones but the seasonal pumpkin (you missed this one already… next year!!) and peppermint are my FAVORITES!
I LOVE MERINGUES.
I make these a lot at home but have yet to turn out a peppermint meringue that trumps these. They are so light and airy and delicious. WOW!
WARNING: You might just eat the whole box in one sitting so buy multiple.
Not a peppermint person? No problem!
These cookies taste real and homemade… and they’re only $3.49 per box! Score! Thanks, Trader Joe’s!
These are also super cute to put out at like a holiday party on a dessert tray! Your guests will love them!
(The mini gingerbread men have been sold out on Amazon every time I’ve tried to buy them… these Trader Joe’s gingerbread cookie hangers are a close second!)
4. Sweet & Salty Snack Mix
This one is NEW and…
CHOCOLATE COVERED POTATO CHIPS, GUYS!! 😍😍
That’s really all I have to say.
RUN to your closest Trader Joe’s this holiday season and GET THIS!
Another snack mix.
This one is more of a classic. TJ’s Jingle Jangle mix is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
It has chocolate covered caramel corn, broken up Joe-Joe’s (Trader Joe’s version of Oreo’s), milk chocolate drops, milk and dark chocolate peanut butter cups (mini!), and chocolate covered pretzels (also mini!🤩)!
Personally I think I prefer the new Sweet & Salty mix just a TINY bit more but this is honestly incredible too. I mean, what’s not to like here?
Cute Shapes? Check.
Yup… Del approved.
7. Trader Joe’s Festive Corn Tortilla Chips
Hey! Finally a salty item (in the shape of trees and ornaments, none the less)!
These are festive and adorable. Love.
You want the feel of holiday baking but made just a SMIDGE easier? This is a perfect (and yummy) solution.
(In searching for this I also found the Peppermint Bread mix which I’ve heard is also super good! Let me know what you think if you try!)
Like I said earlier, Joe-Joe’s are practically just Trader Joe’s version of Oreo cookies. I honestly prefer the Joe-Joe’s version… they feel a smidge less artificially sweet and don’t give me the same tummy ache after eating one too many.
Maybe I’m biased because of my love for Trader Joe’s but that’s just my own take.
(Side note: there’s also a chocolate covered version of these! I didn’t include those cause I’ve never tried them but they look AMAZING!)
Confession time! I have honestly never tried these. I think they are brand new this year and they have been in my hand every time I have been in the store. I’m not sure why I haven’t gotten them yet because they look INCREDIBLE.
Ya know, I’m gonna go get these tomorrow… Stay tuned for an update on my Instagram.
Like a York but better (somehow). That’s all I have to say.
This is one of my favorite Trader Joe’s holiday items of all time. Go try these!
I love the pumpkin version and these are JUST AS ADDICTING. Yum!
13. Candy Cane Tea
Okay, I’ll confess… I’ve had this every single night since Trader Joe’s holiday items dropped.
I couldn’t leave them out. LITERALLY, every single night I have been drinking this Candy Cane Tea with the Trader Joe’s Holiday Peppermint Marshmallows on top! Tea and marshmallows might sound weird but, trust me, it’ll change your life!
Last but DEFINITELY not least…
15. ALMOND NOG!
I love eggnog.
I don’t love how eggnog makes my tummy feel… 🤢
This is the eggnog flavor without the pain. I have been putting this in my coffee since it first dropped this Trader Joe’s holiday season!
(I may or may not have 3 cartons of backup, too😅)
There you have the ultimate list of Trader Joe’s holiday items!
The fall product drop and the holiday drop at Trader Joe’s are the real happiest times of the year (kinda kidding, kinda not…).
But the only downside is a lot of people feel that same way. It is the worst when you are PUMPED to get your holiday yummies and they are SOLD OUT!
So I would definitely recommend going ASAP and grabbing anything you think you might like or using the links I gave above to grab them online– no stress and no effort!
