3 Ways You Can Make Money Without Leaving Your Bed

I don’t think any of us expected 2020 to turn into what it has been… I know I sure didn’t.

But I’m gonna focus on the bright side here… one major perk of the lockdown we went through was learning how to do things at home.

Starbucks lattes at home? Check.

Fresh bagels at home? Check.

Haircuts at home? Check. (Thanks, mom)

Manicures at home? Check. (Thanks again, mom!😉)

Make money at home? Check!

This crazy time taught me that I could actually make a side income pretty quickly and with very little effort.

Okay, let’s be real, everyone has googled “easy ways to make money fast”.

Wait… that’s just me? Oh. Okay. Awkward… 😳

No, but seriously. If you’ve ever looked up anything even somewhat related to that, you’ve probably been bombarded with different “get rich fast” claims that you deemed too good to be true and you ended up doing nothing. If that’s you, I feel ya. It’s super overwhelming

That’s one of the main reasons I wanted to share these 3 ways to make money with you… These are all options that I can personally attest to and promise that they are not a scam and not going to be a waste of your time.

This post is all about quick and easy ways to make money from home. 

Ways to Make Money At Home

1. Survey Junkie

If you’re in college like me, you might’ve heard of Survey Junkie before. I know that it’s super popular with students.

But even if you’re not a student, this is a great gig!

Basically, survey junkie is an online company that pays you to take surveys.

That’s seriously it. When you make an account you are given the opportunity to take a variety of surveys for a different number of points. After, you can redeem those points for money (or a gift card, if that’s more your jam).

To be completely honest here, you probably shouldn’t try to support a family of 4 doing this or anything (I mean, unless you REALLY love survey-taking… then you do you😉).

But you most definitely can get some extra spending money in your pocket by doing this.

2. Poshmark/Ebay/Online Sales:

Okay, I LOVE this option, too! For multiple reasons…

By selling your extra stuff, you not only can make a pretty decent amount of cash, but you have a great excuse (and motivator) to clean out and declutter your house. I’m someone that really procrastinates going through my closet and getting rid of things I no longer use. But give me the chance to make some money too and suddenly… BOOM! Marie Kondo 2.0. 😉

The “simplify your life” idea is great and all but, if we’re honest, I’m really just making room in my closet for more shopping. 

This is also a great option because there is a huge variety in the amount you can make. Depending on what you are selling, you can actually make a pretty good profit. Designer items, new items, high-quality items, etc. all bring in a decent amount of $$$$. Cha-ching!

3. Affiliate Marketing

Simply put, this is just companies paying you commission to promote their products to your followers. It doesn’t cost your followers anything extra (and it doesn’t cost you anything either). You simply get a small portion of the company’s earnings if someone purchases through your affiliate link!

This is something that I think a lot of people are scared off by. People tend to think that they don’t have a “big enough” following… or, even more, that their follows wouldn’t be interested in what they had to say anyway.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. And, after all, you’ll never know until you try!

There are lots of options with companies that have super reasonable requirements for their affiliates.

No, you don’t need millions of followers.

You don’t need to be famous.

You don’t need to be a professional at marketing.

All you need is to take the initiative and apply to a company!

But, I highly recommend you only apply to companies that you actually love. Don’t be in it just for the money. You don’t want to be promoting things that you don’t genuinely like… Come on, now. We’re authentic here. 😉
