There’s something magical about Christmas lights. I’ve always loved driving around and taking in all the holiday light displays on houses in my area. When I was little, my family and I would drive around with travel mugs of hot chocolate, “ooh”ing and “ahh”ing at the lights. Just this past year, my mom, my sister, and I recreated this tradition– with a twist. My mom gave us a Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt list to spice up our annual drive. It was a blast and it’s something I want to implement as a new tradition from here on out.
With 2020 being a bit of weird year (in every way possible), I started feeling a bit sad about the holiday traditions that would affected or forgotten.
However, I am so happy this is one that can still happen. It really is the perfect holiday tradition for this crazy year: fun, festive, and…
Social Distance Friendly!
(Bet you never thought that’d be a quality you’d look for in a holiday activity😉)
Another major bonus to this year is the overwhelming increase in Christmas spirit. I can’t be the only one that’s been noticing houses DECKED OUT for the holidays already! The past few years I’ve been disappointed by the outdoor Christmas lights in my area. But this year, they’re not only up earlier, but there’s tons more! I am loving it!!
If you’re noticing that same thing, that should make a Christmas light scavenger hunt even more exciting, right?!
Okay, okay… I’ll quit rambling now and give ya the list so you can
