These hobbies for your 20s are specifically geared toward physical health and activity. If you’re an active girl, these may be perfect for you!
1. Yoga
Yoga is a great hobby because it combines mental and physical health. It is truly such a great thing to add to your life. You can find great guided yoga videos on YouTube for free. (Yoga With Adriene is my favorite!)
2. Kickboxing
Kickboxing can be such a great release of built-up energy. Again, there are some free videos on YouTube to get you started!
3. Hiking
No better way to immerse yourself in nature than on a long, beautiful hike. Look up hikes near you, grab a hiking buddy, and head out!
4. Swimming
Swimming is a great workout and a really fun way to move your body! It’s something I wish I was better at!
5. Running
I love, love, LOVE to run. Some good music on an outdoor run is SO invigorating. It is one of my personal favorite hobbies in my 20s.
6. Pilates
Pilates is a great way to feel strong and inspired. I love to follow Move With Nicole’s pilates workouts on YouTube. They are the workouts that make me feel the best.
7. Barre
Similar to pilates, taking up barre as a hobby in your 20s is a great way to care for your body and mind. I love the endorphins that I feel after a barre class. Such a great feeling!
8. Boxing
I got this at-home punching bag last summer and it has been one of my new favorite forms of movement. When I’m feeling like a higher-intensity exercise, boxing is my new go-to.
9. Walking
Who says going for a simple walk can’t be a hobby? Outdoor walks are a daily non-negotiable for me. I notice improved mental clarity, mood, and inspiration when I take a walk outside for 10-30 minutes.
