On the hunt for the perfect tips for how to have a self-care Sunday? These simple Sunday self-care ideas are perfect for the refreshing weekend you are looking for!
Let’s start with some basics…
What is Self-Care?
Self-care gets presented in such a glamourous way. When I hear the term self-care, my mind automatically flashes to bubble baths, face masks, and cucumbers on my eyes. While that is self-care… that is not the ONLY form of self-care.
In reality, self-care can be so much more laid back than that. It can be done in the mindless, mundane, everyday things in life. Taking a shower can be self-care. Eating breakfast can be self-care.
Self-care does not have to be complicated, expensive, or time-consuming. Rather, all that matters is– yup, you guessed it– that you are caring for yourself.
When Do I Need a Self-Care Sunday?
Chances are good that if you are reading this post, you could use a self-care weekend. Whether you googled “how to have a self-care weekend” or clicked on this post through Pinterest, clearly something about a self-care weekend appeals to you.
That tells me all I need to know to answer this question: if you are wondering if you could benefit from a self-care Sunday, you should have a self-care Sunday.
